The Westcoast Wilderness Trail (or Westland Wilderness Trail) is a 4 day ride that has been under construction for the last few years and is now open and ready for you to ride.

It can be ridden starting at Ross or Greymouth , depending on your preference for which direction to travel.

The Westcoast Wilderness Trail differs from a lot of other cycleways in New Zealand in that you are riding in the back of beyond but are are never too far from civilisation.

We can arrange many riding options to suit individual needs, such as shuttle transport, accommodation and also many other activities in the area

The ride takes you through a vast array of scenery from beautiful native bush, alongside waterways and lakes and some lovely rural back country.
